May 15, 2019

Central to our ability to produce unique research is the diversity of our “community of practice.” The Partnership on AI (PAI) looks to the varied expertise of its Partners to help advance AI best practices stronger and more well-informed than any single institution could produce in isolation.

Today, we are proud to announce that we are building on our platform with the admission of nine new Partners. The addition of these new Partners will expand the Partnership’s research expertise, global perspectives, and insight into corporate governance structures. As PAI thoughtfully selects new members to welcome into the Partnership, the members presented today were welcomed in based on their ability to advance research collaborations in pursuit of our mission to create AI for the benefit of people and society.

“We are excited to introduce these organizations who are closely aligned with our work and mission in developing best practices in artificial intelligence,” said Julia Rhodes Davis, director of partnerships at the Partnership on AI. “By involving more varied expertise and voices in our work, we improve the quality of best practices for how AI will affect us all.”

The following organizations have joined the Partnership on AI in today’s announcement:
